I gave up a successful CPA practice in Middle Tennessee to move to Memphis, TN in 2003 and begin my graduate studies in Counseling. I am licensed in Tennessee as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider and as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.. I completed my Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervisionfrom Regent University in 2011 and currently teach full-time at Harding School of Theology, where I am also the Information Systems & Technology Co-ordinator.

My wife, Rose, and I have three children: Susan, John Michael, and Stephen.
